Deaf and hearing impairment

If you are profoundly Deaf or have an acquired hearing loss, we can offer an assessment of your hearing or communication difficulties.

If you meet our criteria, you can get services to help you towards living as independently as possible in the community. This may include financial help towards the cost of assistive hearing devices through the Direct Payment Scheme.

Our Deaf and Hearing Impairment Team are a specialist service who support people of all ages.

Bedfordshire Hearing Advisory Service   

Bedfordshire Hearing Advisory Service This free service provides NHS hearing aid maintenance and batteries together with advice, information and practical support covering all aspects of deafness. We can also demonstrate assistive equipment for use at home and at work.
