The Kempston Centre has a range of day opportunities for people with learning disabilities and complex needs that require supervised staff support.
Some of the activities we run include:
- relaxation
- community access
- making greeting cards
- arts and crafts
- woodwork
- running a coffee shop
- gardening
People are encouraged to take part in making decisions about they need and we use VoiceAbility to help people make their own choices.
The staff work in a person-centred way and are part of a multi disciplinary team working with physiotherapists, sensory specialists and health workers.
