Month of Community June 2022

Month of community

This June, Bedford Borough Council is celebrating the Month of Community. Throughout the month we will be sharing community activities and initiatives taking place across the Borough through our social media and on our 2022 events calendar.

The Month of Community, set up last year by the Eden Project, had over 15 million people take part. Many people will be holding street parties over the bank holiday weekend in June to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee.

Other activities include Neighbourhood Watch Week, Volunteers Week and Refugee Week.

We would love you to get involved by sharing activities you are hosting or taking part in on social media using the hashtag #BedfordMonthOfCommunity. If you are interested in having a public event included on the Month of Community calendar, please email communities@bedford.gov.uk.
