Free school meals provision during school holidays

Bedford Borough Council is working with a provider to issue supermarket vouchers to families with children and young people eligible for income related free school meals.

We will be sending voucher links (known as Select Rewards) directly to families of free school meal eligible children ahead of the half term. Voucher links will be issued by email to enable you to choose the best food shop for your family. Where we do not hold an email address for your family, schools will be supporting to ensure you receive your voucher allocation.

Please note, we are also working with our local Early Years Settings to identify and collate the details of those children under 5 years of age who are in receipt of pupil premium or ‘2 year old’ funding so that they can be supported through the fund.

How to redeem your voucher

1. Visit Select your reward

2. Type in your unique code on the homepage and click ‘Redeem’

3. Make your selection from a range of Supermarket voucher(s) and click ‘Checkout’

4. Enter a valid email address, to which we will send a confirmation of your order and your chosen voucher(s).

5. Review and accept the terms and conditions before placing your order.

6. Once you have placed your order, your chosen voucher(s) will be with you within 24 hours.
