The Bedfordshire Community Safety Design Guide Supplementary Planning Document focuses on saved Policy BE45 in the Local Plan 2002.

The document was produced by Llewelyn Davies in association with The Bedfordshire Community Safety Working Group which consists of Bedford Borough Council, Luton Borough Council, Mid and South Beds (now Central Bedfordshire Council), Bedfordshire Police and Government Office for the East of England. It identifies a set of design principles which will assist in planning out crime.
